Battle B-Daman (B-伝説! バトルビーダマン, Bī-Densetsu! Batoru Bīdaman, "B-Legend! Battle B-Daman") is a manga series by Eiji Inuki which ran in CoroCoro Comics by Shogakukan from 2002 to 2005. An anime was created and it first aired in January 2004 in Japan, replacing Explosive Shoot Beyblade G Revolution in its 18:00 timeslot. It premiered in the United States in April 2005. Like its predecessor, it is themed around an enhanced version of a children's schoolyard game – whereas Beyblade was based around spinning tops, Battle B-Daman is a dramatized version of marbles. It is the first show of the B-Daman series to be dubbed in English. In Japan, it airs on TV Tokyo. In the United States, it once aired on ABC Family and Toon Disney's JETIX block. At one point, as well as G4 in the USA, but on the latter was replaced by G.I. Joe: Sigma 6 soon after. In Canada, it airs on YTV, in which on February 2007, the second season (entitled Battle B Daman: Fire Spirits) commenced with a completely new voice cast, and what some have called inferior dubbing from the first season; the French dub of the show airs on Télétoon. In the India, it airs on DD National and Zee TV and the first few episodes are currently available through DD Kashir TV on demand service. The toys were originally made by DD India and were released by Hasbro in United States. In Japan, Battle B-Daman: Fire Spirits! was superseded by Crash B-Daman, a new series with an all new cast and story. The original look of the B-Daman character was based on Bomberman (hence the name of the original version of the original toy: "Bomberman B-Tembak"), but the belt buckle is replaced with a "marble". Bionicle (stylized as BIONICLE) was a line of contraction toys created by the Lego Group marketed primarily for 5-to-16-year-olds. Originally a sub-theme of Lego's Technic series, the line was initially launched in early 2001 in Europe and Australia and the following summer in North America and over the following decade became one of the Lego Groups's biggest-selling properties. The theme's concept is based on two earlier Lego themes that featured characters based on classical elements and incorporated a similar building system. In 2009, The Lego Group closed down the production of future Bionicle sets due to a lack of new sales in the product, and in the wake of theme's cancellation "replaced" Bionicle with Hero Factory; a new contraction series that carries Bionicle's legacy and features a similar building system. The Bionicle story is set in a science fantasy universe in a time pre-dating recorded history, featuring part-organic, part-machine sapient beings and is told on a vast multimedia scale through comic books, video games, website content, feature-length films and primarily, the sets themselves, among other media types. Between 2001 and 2003, the story depicted the events of six heroic beings called Toa Mata (later Toa Nuva), who with great 'Kanohi' masks of power and the ability to control different elements, protected the villagers known as Matoran on the tropical island of Mata Nui against an evil being known as the Makuta (real name later revealed as Teridax) and his many threats. The setting shifted in 2004 and 2005 to the futuristic city island of Metru Nui in a prequel storyline explaining the origins of the Matoran. 2006 began a new story focusing on the quest for the legendary Mask of Life; an artifact said to be able to save the Great Spirit Mata Nui (the god-like entity the Matoran worship) who was originally put to sleep by Makuta. The story culminated in 2008 with the revelation that Makuta Teridax had taken over Mata Nui's body - revealed to be a giant robotic humanoid vessel that houses the homelands of the Toa, Matoran and other known 'bio-mechanical' beings - and placed Mata Nui's consciousness in the Mask of Life, ejecting it into outer-space. 2009 began what was originally intended to be a new saga in the Bionicle story; the former Great Spirit Mata Nui crash-lands on the desert world of Bara Magna after being banished from his own universe by Makuta Teridax. There, he forges new friendships with the planet's Glatorian and Agori residents while attempting to find a way back to his homeland to save the Matoran from Teridax's tyrannical rule. After the announcement of Bionicle's cancellation, the 2010 storyline was changed to Teridax arriving on Bara Magna and battling Mata Nui as well as the former completing his destiny of reforming Spherus Magna; the once-plentiful planet that used to be Bara Magna. The story ended with Mata Nui retreating back inside the Mask of Life, deciding to let the Toa, Matoran, Glatorian and Agori build a new society together without him.

Bomberman Max (ボンバーマンＭＡＸ, Bonbāman Makkusu) is a video game released for the Game Boy Color on May 14, 2000. The game was followed by Bomberman Max 2 which was released for the Game Boy Advance on June 4, 2002. There are two versions called Bomberman Max: Blue Champion and Bomberman Max: Red Challenger. In Blue Champion the playable character is Bomberman where in Red Challenger the playable character is Max. In addition to the two games, there is also the Bomberman Max: Ain Version, which was only available through a lucky draw contest by the Pentel Ain ad campaign. 2000 Ain Version were available through the contest

Breath of Fire (Japanese: ブレスオブファイア, Hepburn: Buresu obu Faia) is a role-playing video game series developed by Capcom. It originated on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993. The series is notable for its recurring characters and ambiguous continuity; though each game is its own self-contained story, the names of the two lead characters are, invariably, Ryu and Nina. The story commonly involves an adventurer named Ryu who can shapeshift into different types of dragons. Over the course of his journey, he befriends Nina, a girl with wings. At its inception, Breath of Fire took place in a medieval fantasy style fictional world. Following the mainstream success of Japanese role-playing games in the 1990s, the series began using the original anime-style artwork for later Western releases of the games (rather than the Westernized art that was drawn specifically for the Western releases of the first two games), post-apocalyptic themes, and an increased emphasis on character development. Despite these changes, the core structure of Breath of Fire remains largely linear and plot-focused. As of 2003, five Breath of Fire titles have been released, with three games being ported to handheld game consoles as well as Nintendo's Virtual Console.
