Fantastic Children (ファンタジックチルドレン, Fantajikku Chirudoren) is a Japanese animated television series created by Takashi Nakamura and produced by Nippon Animation. It first aired on Japan across TV Tokyo between October 4, 2004 and March 28, 2005, totaling 26 episodes, and also received its satellite television premiere on the CS television network Animax. The series was later translated and dubbed by Animax into English for broadcast across its English-language networks in Southeast Asia and South Asia. It is licensed in North America by Bandai Entertainment, who also produced a separate English dub for release in the region.

FightBox was a British television game show originally broadcast on BBC Three and later on BBC Two in 2003. Contestants design their fighters and submit them to the BBC. Out of hundreds of submissions, only sixty were chosen to appear on the programme. The show was a replacement for Robot Wars and aired in the same time slot of Fridays at 6.45pm. As well as battling each other, the fighters would face one of 6 "Sentients". Warriors who had won previous (unseen) tournaments and achieved this honour. The Sentients were: Banshee, Big George, Kodiak, Nail, Pearl and Vesuvius. Although immortal, they did have certain weaknesses which a fighter could use against them. After winning the first series competitor warrior Kill Frenzy achieved sentience and joined the current 6. These 7 Sentients featured in the video game mentioned below. Six Games were played during the show these were: Conquest, Demolition, Duel, Helix, Panic and Revolution. Another game was Showdown, a straight one on one battle to determine the winner of each tournament. The programme was presented by Lisa Snowdon and Trevor Nelson. The programme was reported to have cost up to £4 million to produce, but drew in an average viewing figure of just 22,000 people per episode, meaning it was costing £126 per viewer. According to the Guardian, the show peaked with 56,000 viewers, but subsequently viewing figures were the lowest recorded, with just 6,000 tuning in, a figure leaving it close to a zero rating in the BARB audience measurement system. There are no plans for any future series, though a video game taking place after the show was made.

Finding Nemo is a 2003 American computer-animated comedy-drama adventure film written and directed by Andrew Stanton, released by Walt Disney Pictures, and the fifth film produced by Pixar Animation Studios. It tells the story of the overprotective clownfish named Marlin (Albert Brooks) who, along with a regal tang named Dory (Ellen DeGeneres), searches for his abducted son Nemo (Alexander Gould) all the way to Sydney Harbour. Along the way, Marlin learns to take risks and let Nemo take care of himself. It is Pixar's first film to be released in cinemas in the northern hemisphere summer. The film was re-released for the first time in 3D on September 14, 2012, and it was released on Blu-ray on December 4, 2012. A sequel, Finding Dory, is in development, set to be released on June 17, 2016. The film received widespread critical acclaim, won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, and was nominated in three more categories including Best Original Screenplay. It was the second highest-grossing film of 2003, earning a total of $936 million worldwide. Finding Nemo is the best-selling DVD of all time, with over 40 million copies sold as of 2006, and was the highest-grossing G-rated film of all time before Pixar's own Toy Story 3 overtook it. It is the 26th highest-grossing film of all time, as well as the 5th highest-grossing animated film. In 2008, the American Film Institute named it the 10th greatest animated film ever made as part of their 10 Top 10 lists.
