Timothy Walter "Tim" Burton (born August 25, 1958) is an American film director, producer, artist, writer, poet and stop motion artist. He is known for his dark, gothic, macabre and quirky horror and fantasy films such as Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Ed Wood, Sleepy Hollow, Corpse Bride, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Dark Shadows and Frankenweenie, and for blockbusters such as Pee-wee's Big Adventure, Batman, its first sequel Batman Returns, Planet of the Apes, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Alice in Wonderland. Burton has worked repeatedly with Johnny Depp, who has become a close friend of Burton since their first film together. He has also worked with musician Danny Elfman, who has composed scores for all but two of the films Burton has directed. Actress Helena Bonham Carter, Burton's domestic partner, has appeared in many of his films. He also wrote and illustrated the poetry book The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy & Other Stories, published in 1997, and a compilation of his drawings, sketches and other artwork, entitled The Art of Tim Burton, was released in 2009. Burton has directed 16 films and produced 12 as of 2012. His latest film, Big Eyes, a biographical drama film about Walter Keane and his wife Margaret will be released on Christmas Day 2014 in the United States.

TOCA Touring Car Championship (called TOCA Championship Racing in the USA) is a British racing video game released in late 1997 in Europe and Summer 1998 in the US, for Windows, PlayStation and Game Boy Color. It is developed by Codemasters and also published by Codemasters (Europe), additionally published by 3DO (USA) and Upstar (Japan). It is part of the TOCA Touring Car series. Featuring all the licensed cars (not including privateers) and tracks from the 1997 British Touring Car Championship, the game was critically acclaimed by the European games press, especially on console, where it was widely considered the best in its genre until the release of Gran Turismo several months later.

TOCA World Touring Cars (called Jarrett & Labonte Stock Car Racing in the USA and WTC: World Touring Car Championship in Japan) is a racing video game developed and published by Codemasters, and released in 2000 for PlayStation and Game Boy Advance. It is part of the TOCA Touring Car series. It features various Touring Car championships from around the world, but despite carrying the TOCA name, a fully licensed British Touring Car Championship (ToCa) series was not included. This upset a lot of fans of the series, but success continued. The gameplay overall became more "arcadey" and the replacement of qualifying laps with random grid positions together with the omission of penalties for bad driving made the game much more playable for the casual gamer. Curiously, unlike the first two titles in the TOCA series, World Touring Cars was not released in a Windows version.

Seventeen of his novels were bestsellers, and more than 100 million copies of his books are in print. His name was also a brand for similar movie scripts written by ghost writers and non-fiction books on military subjects. He was a part-owner of the Baltimore Orioles and Vice Chairman of their Community Activities and Public Affairs committees.

Top Gear GT Championship is a racing game developed and published by Kemco for the Game Boy Advance and released in 2001. The game was a launch title in Japan and Europe for the Game Boy Advance, and was the first Game Boy Advance game in the Top Gear series.

Top Gear Rally is a rally game for the Nintendo 64, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance. The Game Boy Color version was released under the name Top Gear Pocket, although the European release uses the original name. It features five tracks. It has a feature that allows the user to give their virtual cars custom paint jobs. Although the name stayed the same, the developers changed between consoles. As a result, the games are very different depending on the platform, but they often have similar features such as the paint shop.

Top Gear Rally 2 is a racing game for the Nintendo 64. It was released in 2000, and is a sequel to Top Gear Rally. Like the original Rally, a related game was released for the Game Boy Color as Top Gear Pocket 2, then retitled Top Gear Rally 2 for its European release.
